When I was younger I wasn’t into fashion, and then I started to change. I stopped caring about what other people think and started to express myself.

Why did you choose to work in fashion / textiles?

Fashion allowed me to express myself. Fashion tells a story. This is what I’m wearing, this is my story.

Best thing about the job?

The studio inspires me. People are nurturing here. Everyone accepts each other, no matter where they come from.

Favorite item of clothing?

I like different, unusual fashion that people wouldn’t usually wear. Things that make people think twice.

Best designer ever:

I like the design of Alexander McQueen, because it’s so different.
